I took Cipro a year ago and had no problems. But I tried Levaquin for 5 days the first of December and had to stop because I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach. A few days later diarrhea began.

My doc said since I had stopped the Levaquin the stomach problems would go away and they did. My energy level has dropped and I have constant headaches and pain in my joints. If I don't take a nap I can't make it through the day. My doc said it sounded like the flu but I don't have fever or respiratory problems.

I'm taking a prescription pain reliever 3 times a day and it helps. My wife is worried because she says I look really tired as I hobble around due to the joint pain. Has anyone had this kind of joint pain and did it go away? If so, how long did it take to go away and did you get any alternative treatment from your doctor? Thanks.
