AR is a severe allergic reaction . The immune system responds to an allergen (TROVAN, in my case) by releasing histamine and other immune chemicals. The immune chemicals produce swelling, breathing problems, widening of blood vessels and decrease in blood pressure.

Anaphylactic shock is a life threatening reaction.

I had a surgery , everything was going fine during the surgery until the gave me IV Trovan, soon after the first dose, my blood pressure went down, I could not breathe and I almost died. They stopped the IV right away. Doctors believed this reaction was to Trovan, they were confused and worried too.

Days after my operation, Trovan was banned from the market.

It has been 8 months since the surgery and my liver enzymes are just going down, I still have pain in my joints and I don't want to take any antibiotics ever.
