I have been talking Levaquin for seven weeks. Five weeks at 500mg per day and the last two weeks at 250mg per day. I have had sore tendons and joints for the last two weeks the doctor didn't seem to be concerned and prescribed another thirty days at 250mg per day.

The reason I was prescribed Levaquin to start with is that I was admitted to the emergency room with a severe prostate infection that had spread to my kidneys. I had pain throughout my body, nausea, and a temp. of 103F. I'm glad I decided to check the internet before I started this last prescription. I think I would have been back in the ER

Has anyone else had a doctor that tried to prescribe Levaquin for this length of time?
