I too had been given Cipro first to treat bronchitis. Several days into it  I went to the ER because I felt hyper, weird and like I couldn’t breathe  right. The ER told me to continue on the Cipro.

My symptoms were dismissed  and I was given a chest x ray to rule out pneumonia and sent to follow up  with a Specialist. The specialist knew about the Cipro and gave me a two week course of Levaquin to address the breathing problems.

After the Levaquin I was destroyed. I have had insomnia problems too but had  attributed them to not being able to sleep from the acute burning pain, muscle pulsations, and joint pain. Has anyone noticed that when they are  just about to doze off that they experience tremor like sensations.
