Subject: Levaquin Reaction 

I took this medication for the first time two days ago for a sinus infection. An hour after the second dose, I experienced palpitations, irregular and fast heartbeat, trouble sleeping and impaired mental alertness. I had to ask my physician to change my antibiotic. I'd like to know if anyone has had any lasting effects from this medication after taking it for such a short time.
