The official word from my physician in a letter to the pharmaceutical company was that my seizure control may have been compromised by the Levaquin. He was writing to them to obtain other  reports related to seizures and Levaquin. He reported the tics and  spasms as "break thru seizures" and added dilantin to my regimen.

Anyone with a seizure disorder or prior CNS problems should not take quinolones.
