I started taking levaquin 8 days ago. At first I could not sleep, but I was having trouble sleeping with the infection anyway. After taking it for 3 days my joints started hurting, I just thought I was over doing it with getting ready for Thanksgiving, but I have rested and it has only gotten worse.

Today I woke up and both my shoulders hurt and it is difficult to lift my arms especially my right shoulder. My knees are hurting, the right one is a lot worse and I am having trouble getting up from a seated position. Also my elbows hurt, and it hurts to straighten out my arms. This time the left elbow is the worse. I am calling my doctor asp. I have arthritis and I hope this medication has not made it worse. I will let you know how I make out.
