Subject: Re: Levaquin GI Side effects

I have an update on my friend - she's hospitalized again last weekend, this time because she was bleeding from her colon, she was dehydrated and anemic, still not able to eat much of anything. She's been given blood, she's on steroids and feels somewhat better - they think the bleeding has stopped. I'm not sure what else they're doing to determine the cause of the problem (aside from Levaquin that we know started this nightmare), I hope IF she lives through this (I'm not sure she can go on for two years like this) she's going to sue the crap out of the drug company, this has ruined her life, and I'm sure she's not alone in that.
