Peg's Story
| I returned from skiing with a cold (respiratory). I was given inhalatant with trovan for 8 days. After a few days off drugs, I was listless and aching muscles although I continued to play tennis. I was simply dragging. I thought I had flu and wasn't responding. She prescribed steroid for 5 days. I jaundiced and my liver was close to failure. For the next 30-45 days, I had no energy and took no pills at all, just rest. I lost 12 lbs. My blood was taken and tested daily as my potassium level and other levels dropped critically. I came close to being hospitalized but requested to stay home and rest and did. I think I am better because I feel better and am back to playing tennis, but won't know until next blood test. for an antibiotic |
